    How can I customize the search button?

    Posted 11 years 5 months ago
    • Hi, everyone!

      I'm trying to customize the default Gantry search button. In the admin panel, I've chosen the option for "image button," and I've uploaded my image to the right place.

      The image is appearing, but the default Gantry/Bootstrap button is still appearing underneath. Argh!

      Here's my current CSS that I've added to a gantry-custom.css file, but it's had no effect on the button:
      .button, .readon, .readmore, button.validate, #member-profile a, #member-registration a, .formelm-buttons button, .btn-primary {
          border-color: none;
          background-color: none;
          background-image: none;
          background-repeat: none;
          filter: none;

      }

      Can anyone let me know how to disable the default, CSS-based button styling? Thank you!

    • Could you please post a URL to your site so we can look for you. Without a link to page where the problem is on your site it is quite hard for us to provide the best solution due to so many variables. We try to provide file names and line numbers for code changes and if changes have already been made then our advice may be incorrect.

      Regards, Mark.
