Undertaking my weekly Google Analytics check and found that nothing had been recorded for the last 7 days on a site which is quite active - I have attached a screen shot.
I know the site has been up and active because we have been making sales over this period and there has been activity of the site because of the click throughs in Google Adwords during that period if nothing else. I have not been meddling the GA and looking at the source code on the site

the correct UA is in the HTML but because it is embedded amongst other code I am wondering whether it may not be readable. I am trying to think through a number of possible issues and one of them is that I may have updated Gantry or something else which has caused the change to the HTML.
I have had a little hunt around the Joomla back end to see if there is a log file or updating activity but I am struggling to find this. Does such a thing exist? If I can find out when I have made changes then it might help to narrow things down or rule things out.
The last gantry update (4.1.21) introduced a change in the Google Analytics code to the new universal analytics code - did you update gantry?
Please would you post your URL, superuser id and pswd in the secure tab of your post and i'll ask the DEVS to have a look for you.
If would be helpful if you could provide any other relevant information about your analytics settings too.
Regards, Mark.

Could you please check that you google UA code is correct - normally these codes are ua-xxxxxxxx-x but yours is only ua-xxxxxx-x (i.e. 6 digits instead of 8 ).

I have had the Adwords and Analytics accounts for quite a few years now and UA-221607 was my original number with this being the sixth site using that root. I can see now from another site I look after which has only being running for 2 years that there are now 8-digit numbers.
So is this something which needs sorting with Google Analytics or is it a Gantry issue? Although the Gantry issue will recur with other people like me who have been round for a long time<g>.
If that code is valid in Google then that is fine. I will now raise a bug ticket for our DEVS to investigate, please leave admin details as they are so they can check.

Yes I know - I was just requesting that you leave them as valid and don't change them as some time my elapse until our DEVS can look.

Can you give me some indication as to when this i sexpected to be fixed? I have now lost the last 2 weeks of Analytics data. The account I set up for the DEVS was accessed on 11th March - one week ago - and has not been accessed since.
