    Article Manager: Articles - Hide & Show not working

    • Sorry for the post, but unable to resolve.

      This is the "first" time I have ever tried Gantry w/Rocket Launcher. The install went well.

      For now, I switched to Protostar template to work on content and other modules.

      No matter what I do? In "Options" it still has

      Most were HIDE, but still show?? I have tried toggling them ON Save/Clear Cache etc....and back off -hide but nothing responds...and still shows.

    • check your article options under the menu manager > concerned menu item
    • SEARCH the forum first! These boards are rich in knowledge and vast in topics. This includes searching just the 'Solved' forums, using Google, and using ChatGPT :woohoo:

    • Interseting...and thank you VERY much..as I would have not really thought to have looked there...as they did not show up on the Gantry Template view.

    • Not sure why the menu itmes are set that way. Shouldn't they all be set to Global and allow the article manager to control those options? As opposed to having to set options on a per menu basis?

    • TLDR: It's the RocketLauncher specifically we're talking about here... it sets those options to mirror the demo output

      When you use our RocketLauncher you're installing all the Demo Content and all the Demo Settings... including options we've set to hide stuff like Author, Print/Email icons, Publish Date, etc... I don't know if our RocketLauncher and/or the Joomla Installer can even tweak Global Settings... but assuming it could, I still think it's better that we set theseoptions in the Menu Items so that if you do want to go your own route you can simply delete the Menu Item and not have to worry about checking through every Global Config option... also, we may want to tweak items on a per-menu-item basis, so better there instead of Global as well IMO.
