    • Hello,

      I have several pages (articles) with mailto links on them. When viewing the page I see the following message: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need Javascript enabled to view it.

      Here is the code:
      <a href="mailto:tour@endruralpoverty.org"><span style="font-size: 9pt;">Contact Us</span></a>

      Here is a link to one of the pages in question:

      Can anyone shed insight as to why this is happening?

      The site is using version 4.1.25 of the Gantry template and framework. The Joomla version is 2.5.24.

    • Yes, The joomla email cloaking plugin is protecting you from having that email address being spammed (harvested by spambots). But, you must not put ANY html inside the mailto link (you have used span tags) otherwise it fails. Remove the span tag (or put around the a tag) and you should be ok then.
