    Should I worry about this PHP Fatal error message?

    • [05-Nov-2014 01:26:31 America/Chicago] PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in ../public_html/libraries/gantry/gantry.php on line 267

      Thanks for any insight you can give me! I am not seeing any particular problem on the site but I don't like the sound of it.

    • That's usually the result of changing the path of your site and having not yet cleared your system caches... where are you seeing the error?

      Is the site on the latest version of the template and the latest version of gantry...

      no, that error usually does not impact anything on the front end... but some users get it when trying to access the template in the template manager after a site move...

    • Hi Matt,

      Thank you very much for replying. I will answer your questions:

      The site has not been moved recently.
      The error message was in the error log. I am trouble-shooting something else and noticed that.
      The template is Zephyr and it's 1.6.8 whereas the most recent version is 1.7.
      The Gantry is 4.1.25.

      Good to know it's not something that affects the front end.

    • Sorry! I should have mentioned that. It is 2.5.27

      I'm thinking about installing a copy of the site in a subdirectory and upgrading the gantry and template there, to see what happens.

    • yeah, there's was nothing specific noted in the changelog of Zephyr between 1.6.8 and 1.7... because it shouldn't affect the frontend though this is one of those things i'm tempted to say "let sleeping dogs lie" on...
