Want to upgrade from gantry 4 site to latest Gantry 5. Instructions?

Hi! I looked everywhere, and can't find. I have a Gantry 4 site with Chimera template. Joomla 3.10.11
I want to upgrade to the latest Gantry 5. Can someone direct me to instructions on how to do it?

Posted 10 months 4 weeks ago- It seems like I am missing something. I want to upgrade from gantry 4 to gantry 5. The chimera template is updated to move to gantry 5. Is it possible? I read on one of the links that if I have gantry 4, just stay there.

There is no “upgrade” path from G4 to G5. You effectively have to start over because the two frameworks are completely different. You should be familiar with Gantry 5 (use rocketlauncher) before you attempt to migrate an existing site. Also bear in mind that you cannot use any of the old RT “rok” extensions in Joomla 4 so you will need to install those and replace them with something else (e.g. a Gantry 5 particle).
