iphone config within crystalline theme

Hello
Does anybody know of any good tutorials for the gantry wordpress iphone configuration for crystalline theme. my desktop looks great but the iphone is terrible and non-functional.
I have to date:
changed the default and front page widgets within the widgets section of wp and also the iphone widget settings within the 'crystalline' options
I have enabled iphone within 'crystalline' options
no changes that I have made within these parameters seem to make any difference in the iphone layout which is currently unusable and lacks pretty much all of the desktop version save a misplaced logo and one post.
none of the navigation settings work, no images, sidebar, showcase, bottom content etc.
I cannot find any tutorials on how to configure this vital part of the website development. pls help

- You ever get this figured out? I'm having the same issue. Looks like crap on the iPhone. Using Crystalline.
