Frontpage override won't save

Hi -
I've recently installed the Quantive theme for WordPress using the rocket launcher package.
I am trying to make changes to the Front page override in Gantry, but whenever I click 'save', all pages that were assigned to it are deleted.
The only way I can retrieve the settings is to edit the database directly using phpmyadmin
Any ideas?

- Have you tried deleting the front page override and creating a new one? Sometimes they get stuck for some reason. We are working on why that happens but it only happens to some people and it's difficult to recreate in a testing environment. Working around it is the only current solution.

- I'll try it but in the mean time whats the file that saves the settings for gantry in wordpress at least can we manually change in that file the settings ? so it reverts back on the default one ? is this possible ?

- All of that information is stored in the database, so you could if you're good enough with mySQL. That's about the only way to do what you're asking.

Cliff if you need a testing enviroment i can provide you a login on my vps to test... but you need to tell me where do you want acess exactly...
(ftp&sql i beleive? /keep in mind that i'm using lighthttpd i don't know if its suit you but apache is not an option for now i have some performance issues)
ps: where are the gandtry settings in mysql.. i searched the database but cant find something for gantry... (wordpress)

at first time install using rocketlauncher when you change anything on the frontpage (text) widgets i doesn't save them.. (it shows it saves but it doesn't) You need to delete the text widget and re-create it for the changes to apply...

Hi, we are aware of the widget issues and the override issues, they are priority to be fixed in a future release of Gantry. These issues are difficult to recreate in a testing environment as they do not occur for everyone, so they are difficult to address.
As for database editing, that is outside the scope of the support we offer here. The only workaround is to create new overrides as I suggested earlier. Sometimes the overrides behave like the widgets and starting a new one may help. - The difficult we do immediately, the impossible takes a little longer.

Nop it didn't help in my case i just tryed it,,.,, Thanks anyway i'll setup again a new installation so i can have the default layout and i keep my hands off the gantry settings for now
BTW do you know where could i change the posts read more i want to translate it as i did with rockstories newspager etc.. but this one i cant find it anywere....
