  • Not applying 'active' class / 'current' id to menu

    • I have recently used Backup Buddy to migrate a Wordpress Gantry site I've built to a new server, everything migrated perfectly, but now the 'Gantry Menu' widget isn't behaving the same. It is no longer applying the 'active' class and 'current' ID to the current menu item. My CSS is using these classes to add a marker to the current page.

      Any help is appreciated as I'm really stumped by this one.

    • Hi, I took a look. Never seen this before. The only thing I can think of is maybe something got screwy when you moved the site, not an uncommon issue with Wordpress. Maybe there is something with the menu or permalinks that needs to be adjusted or reset, possibly Gantry is just not seeing those pages as the active links for some reason. That's my best guess. You don't have a ton of menu items, so it wouldn't be too much work to try that theory out.

      You could also try putting in a fresh version of the Gantry plugin, maybe a file got lost or corrupted along the way. Check permissions also. That's what I would try, I'm not seeing any errors on the site, so it is a bit of a mystery to me as well. Let me know if anything works.

    • Are you having a problem that you need help with? This is a very old thread.

      Generally active menu items not showing after moving a site is an issue with the database not being updated properly. Weather the page is "active" or not comes from Wordpress, not Gantry specifically.
