  • Unable to save layout for header position

    • Hi,

      I'm having the same issue i.e. it is not saving layout for header position, whenever i change "Header Position" to 2, and click Save, after page refresh, it come back to "1". Same thing happen for footer position as well. I tried several times, applied several things by adding / deleting dummy widgets and data, nothing worked. I am using Reaction theme in wordpress. I've tested the same scenario and same theme for joomla but it worked fine there so apparently gantry is having issue with wordpress.

      Please help me solve this issue asap because its been more than a week now and we are stuck because of this issue and let me know if you need login credentials. I'll send you in pm.

    • Are you using a Gantry Divider widget to separate the widgets in the Header position? That needs to be there otherwise Gantry doesn't know to break it into multiple positions and will reset to the default upon save.

      Thanks for your reply. I wasn't using the divider widget, and when i used it worked!. But i'm unable to find the layout position for copyright. Is it not available in this theme? Because i kinda need to apply three widgets in the copyright position. How can i do that?

    • Hi, the copyright position in this theme only has one widget position.

      If you want to add more, look at this tutorial:
      www.gantry-framework.org/documentation/w...ing-widget-positions

      Go to step three, find the copyright position in your theme files and match up the max_positions and schema numbers to what is in the tutorial.
