  • Incompatibility with WPML and Gantry

    • Hi,

      I have a site using Camber Theme and the Gantry framework. This is a multilingual site so I am using WPML to translate the contents.
      I have all the menus translated and added with the Gantry Menu Widget.

      The problem is that when I modify a menu, some of the overrides randomly change the selected Gantry Menu into another one. So I have to delete the widget and add it again.

      Do someone know what is happening here?

    • Hi,
      WPML plugin changed licenses some years back so I no longer have access to it to try out the issue. Please note that in Gantry, you can have only one Fusion Menu per page (you can use overrides to change that menu though) so it might be that you have two Gantry Menu widgets at the same page.
      WPML plugin has an option to translate the menu items, no?

      Thanks for the reply! Actually I was using two Gantry menu on the same override, but they are Split-menu, is there a problem with it?

      Sadly I cannot find a solution to the problem.

      SplitMenu should be fine. Could you please PM me with login details for the admin area so I could take a look at your setup? Also please provide the steps to reproduce the issue.
