[Solved, sort of] Theme settings do not work

- Theme settings do not work, click on a tab and nothing happens

- Hi,
  there's probably a JavaScript error on the page which is causing the tabs to not work. Please try disabling any 3d party plugins you might have installed one by one, to see if any of them is causing the issue.

- Yes I tried that, but why would a plugin affect the back end of the site, which is where this is happening?
  
  In any case I only have a couple of third party plugins. Disabling them does nothing to correct the problem

- OK,
  
  SO you guys released a new Gantry version, which I installed, now the site doesn't work, and when I click on Ionosphere Theme to get to the Gantry settings, it is just blank!

  the white screen means there's a PHP fatal error. Please enable the debug mode ( codex.wordpress.org/WP_DEBUG ) to see what error is causing the issue.

  Enabling the debug mode will reveal the error messages, so we can see what's causing it. And that requires FTP access (please see the link above), the debug mode cannot be enabled in the admin dashboard.
