For us wordpress users, it would be great if we had the option to assign gantry overrides to specific post types. Is this something that you guys are planning to add to future gantry for wordpress versions? Thanks guys!
As far as I know it already does this. I have custom post types in one of my sites, and each one, as well as taxonomy terms are listed in the override assignments, and I'm using them without issue. Not sure why you wouldn't be seeing it, this has been in Gantry for awhile.
The difficult we do immediately, the impossible takes a little longer.
Hi,
you can select the post format from Posts: Terms box in the Assignments page (please see the attached screenshot). Then that override will be applied when the visitor is viewing a single post which has that format.
For post format archives (eg: /type/gallery page, see here:
codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/get_post_format_link
), you can create a menu item which links to that and then you can assign that menu item to the override. Now the override applies when the visitor is viewing the archive page of that post format.
Please don't PM unless requested
Consider using the custom stylesheet for all your CSS customizations:
gantry-framework.org/documentation/wordp...custom_stylesheet.md
.
Please provide the URL to the issue.
And please mark the thread as solved if the issue is resolved.
