Gantry and Jetpack Gallery Carousel

Since updating to the latest version of Gantry and the latest version of Jetpack I've noticed that the carousel is no longer working.
I've checked that the gallery has been added correctly. I did experiment with changing the layout and also noticed that the slideshow view didn't display due to a javascript error, so it was put back into the thumbnail view. I've also created a new gallery from scratch and still the same issue.
The following page on WordPress shows that there should be an option for displaying the carousel, but it is missing on my installation.

I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but it was something that came up in my research: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/possible-bug-report?replies=5
Any ideas at all?

- Very sorry for not getting back to you (busy school time!). There have been updates to the Jetpack plugin which appear to have resolved the issue.
