Gantry and WP4.3 - will they work together?

On the following page Gantry is listed as using the deprecated function

Is this still true or has this been resolved? I notice in the changelog for 4.1.6 that the following was resolved. Is this the same thing?
Replaced .live deprecated jQuery call in gantry-widgets.js
Are you able able to provide some more information please? I've found a number of plugins (not RT) that will stop me from updating to 4.3, so I'm trying to find out as much as I can and test offline so that I don't mess up any of my live sites.

I grepped a recent WP Gantry install of mine and did not find any files containing "{object}->WP_Widget()"
Deprecated doesn't mean unsupported though and just because something is deprecated doesn't mean it won't work... that being said, because this is related to PHP 4 and not WP directly I'm pretty confident that everything on our end has been appropriately updated... I'm not a dev, but having been here a while now that'd be my impression certainly
According to that post though you're just going to get a warning in WP 4.3... which you can suppress... and everything should continue to work. - Last Edit: 9 years 8 months ago by Matt.
