SOLVED How to Assign Override to Wordpress Home Page (Latest Posts)

Hi All,
I feel like this has probably been answered somewhere else before, but for the life of me, I haven't been able to find it.
I'm trying to assign a Gantry override to Wordpress' Home Page (I'm going with latest posts instead of a static page.). I need the default theme to be what you see once you've clicked into a post, which means I need an override for the actual blog feed itself. I've tried adding a menu item that points to the base url, and assigning the override to that, but that hasn't worked for some reason.
I need the home page to be the most recent blog posts, so I cannot switch it to a static page unfortunately.
Anyone know how to assign an override to the Home page when it's set to latest posts?
Any help would be super appreciated.

- Yes do you have an url, latest posts should be set automatically if you set it right , post your username and password and i will see how you set it and see what is wrong ...

Hi Damir,
Sorry for getting back to you so much later. I got pulled off the project for awhile, and am just getting back to it.
I've looked back through the setup, and realized that there is a 'Template Page Types' section in gantry that you can assign overrides to. One of which was 'home page'. Before I had been trying to assign the override by creating a custom menu item with the link to the home page and trying to assign the override to that. By switching to the 'home page' template page type, I was able to get the override to effect the home page while it was set to latest posts.
