Since the last time I did this, it broke a website I spent a lot of time on, can you please tell me what to do step by step or point me in the direction of some documentation with this information. I do not want another website to break down on me.
I have have version 4.1.2 installed. Update to 4.1.10.

James there isn't any you need to do a backup and then restore the backup on localhost or on the server somewhere, then if its the same as the online production version you update the production online version to latest version if some widgets get deleted you can see which ones from the backup and then simply recreate it and that's it...
