Gantry Recent Comments Doesn't work with Widget Logic

We are using and enjoying Memberpress and would like to hide the Gantry Recent Comments widget from non-members. Unfortunately we've found that while Widget Logic works with all of the other widgets we have in use, it does not work at all with Gantry widgets.
As a result, I'm hoping someone here might know how to fix this or have a recommendation for a "recent comments" widget as an alternative but that is similar to the Gantry Recent Comments. The Gantry Recent Comments are very well done and look great on our site but we can't use them if we can't hide them.

Does Memberpress set a unique class in the <body> tag or anywhere else when a member is logged in versus not-logged in?
If so you could do something like:
.unique-class .gantry-recent-comments {
display: none;
}
^^^ that's all pseudo code... I'd need a link to a page with Gantry Recent Comments running along with an account I can log in with - Last Edit: 8 years 10 months ago by Matt.
