Hi There,
i installed the Gantry tool and i`m quite impressed.
What is the best way to customize the design of a page.
How do i add a Picture in the header. Which files do i have to change?

- You can edit layout settings on a page-by-page basis by editing the parameters for your template in "Extensions -> Template Manager." You can add custom HTML to various module positions by creating "Custom HTML" modules in "Extensions -> Module Manager"

- One method would be to create a module of type "Custom HTML" located in the header position, and use a standard <img> tag.

- So i added a html module and added a picture. but there are borders. how could i fit it exactly?

that depends a bit on which template you are using exactly.
also, maybe you have a link to your site so we can take a look?

Hi Cat,
it`s just the Template from Gantry based on the 960 Grid.
I would like to use a preset and make a custum Design.
Maybe there is a better way? (; i installed it locally and i would like to redesign it.

thank`s a lot for your kind help. I have it just locally but i try to install it soon online.
It`s just the standard Template from the GaNtry Site.

I added a html Module and inserted a picture. It works so far.
There is still a broder to the left and the right. In which css file cann i edit it?

hi again,
have you used firebug before? considering the fact that you probably want to change many more things on your template in the future, i highly recommend that you try it, because it will make it so much easier for you to find the css references yourself.
