  • gantry memory limit exhausted error?

    • Hi,

      Today suddenly my site is showing the following error:

      Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 8192 bytes) in /home/xxxx/public_html/components/com_gantry/core/gantrybrowser.class.php on line 1

      Where/what is the memory size limit? Can I make it bigger?where? and is the size strangely large?

    • Many shared host start you off at a default of 8MB.

      Try increasing it to 32 or 64MB.

      You can do this in the php.ini file accessed through your host's CP.

      If as a user, you don't have this option, ask your host to change it for you.
