I do not understand where does the error, I did a copy / pasted all the files from the basic template of gantry, I just changed the folder name and basic information in templateDetails.xml it does not work like that.
I do not understand ...

If i rename the name on the .xml is good, but if i rename the folder the problems come in...

For older templates this would work:

But for Gantry templates, it's a little more complex, try this thread for starters:

Follow Henning's advice in that thread to the letter and you should be OK...
