New template admin widget - Chameleon Chooser

    • Coming soon!

Lets you pick basic styling settings for an element - fore / background colour, images (up to three images in any of the top/bottom/left/right/center alignments and with any repeat setting)

And the nifty thing... it does not store the variables as parameters, it stores the CSS.
So you can store all these settings in one paramter!

The CSS is encoded/decoded to/from the params only in the Template Admin menu (ie when you are changing the template options) so it should be possible to have one chameleon picker per element you wish to style and store all the settings as a preset without excessive bloat.

I added a "Built CSS" textarea for this screenshot so you can see the CSS that the widget generates. The code is pretty clunky though, I had problems getting my head around the JS / PHP integration so some methods I use may be a little... inelegant.

I am currently working on a version of Quasar with all the positions stylable with a Chameleon Chooser - once I have that working I will put a release toghether.

If you are a decent coder and can help in the meantime, please feel free to get in touch. I have it working, but some code optimization would be nice ;)

At some point I would like to make it so that it if you disable image 2 or 3 it shrinks and hides those panels or something, as I feel ittakes up a little much space...
