Gantry Conflicts with Wordpress Events-Manager plugin

    • We are using the Grunge theme (skinned slightly) with Gantry, and the wordpress Events-Manager plugin and we're getting some significant conflicts.

I've narrowed it down to gantry because it works with other themes including perihilion as well as the default Wordpress theme.

I use All In One SEO for SEO and as you can see on this page

      www.rockitranch.com/events/event/robbie-gould-event/

The title is still the title of the previous events page. There is something going on in the title gizmo file that's causing this conflict. Unique titles work on my other RT theme site.

The other thing is--event booking buttons do not work. It appears as though somehow the javascript is not working despite being present. If you click on the check out with paypal--nothing happens. If I remove the paid ticket and just have a regular event, the page refreshes and goes to a "there are no events" page as opposed to using ajax to process like it does on my other site:

      www.rockitbarandgrill.com/events/event/m...-bears-robbie-gould/

I don't particularly care for Gantry and it seems to really mess up a lot of functionality with other plugins I rely on. Why would gantry conflict and cause this form not to process and why (despite having the custom title tag blank in the gantry admin) would it revert to using a non-unique page title from the previous page?

    • I see a javascript error on your page. Could be because Gantry and most of our plug ins use Mootools, and your form seems to run on jQuery, which don't always play nice. Looks like you have a lot of scripts from a lot of third parties - Gantry, just like anything else, will not always work with every product from every manufacturer.

    • I still have the same issues when disabling all plugins except for the events manager and gantry. (I did that when I was debugging and should have mentioned that)

I have jQuery running in no conflict mode as well.

Can you copy/paste the Javascript error? I don't know why but my firebug is not displaying an error...

    • I attached what I'm seeing, it's not coming up as an error, but showing in the log. It probably shouldn't be there and I'm not sure what it means, could point to a problem.

    • It's the cycle jQuery plugin--that comes up no matter what is on the page.

(It's not an error I think it's technically classified as a warning)

I'll keep looking into this but there's some javascript/css conflicts in the core of gantry that I can't seem to fix.
