  • 16 columns layouts for "older" templates

    • Hi. :)

      If I use templates that use 12 columns layout, is it then possible to "upgrade" so I can use 16 column layout? I am using Joomla 1.5.24.

      I am trying the Quantive Template (version 1.5.6) that uses 12 column layout.
      The Quantive Template is resently downloaded and the Gantry Joomla Framework is 3.1.18.

      I have been asking in the Quantive forum, but have not get any reply.

      Hope someone can help or guide me to some links that can help.

      Now I have tested this, and it seems to be working. But I did not find this line default="8,3,3" in the templateDetails.xml file. This should be changed to default="8,4,4" as in the link that you refered to.
      Is this important?

      I attach the not edited Default 12 column templateDetails.xml file.

    • that's a typo: 8,3,3 should be 6,3,3 ...
