No margin in utility

Hello all, I am wondering if someone could explain to me how to get rid of the margins in the utility section. I have a slideshow that sits flush to the top menu and because of the margins in the utility area the menu is wider than the slideshow.
Is there a simple way to adjust the margins for the utility position?

This is really frustrating, All I want to do is have no margin for the utility position but if I change the style sheet it affects the margin for all the positions.
I just want to know how to assign no margin to the utility position without impacting the other positions' styling.
