"Scroll to top" button not turning off

Good day!
I am running Joomla 1.7.3 with the latest version of Gantry on Rochen's reseller hosting plan. When I go into my template to turn off the javascript "scroll to top" button, it, in fact never turns off. The reason I want to turn it off is because it doesn't play well with Gantry's drop down menus in my template and will freeze up (briefly) the window in Chrome or Firefox.
I will be happy to open up the site for anyone who would like to see it.

I agree, it's strange. For the life of me I can't turn it off. It's gotten to the point where it locks up my browser :-/

How often does this happen to you guys in support . . . I fixed the problem!!
It was, of course, a conflict with a plugin.

- I am having this problem but cant find the solution - "probably an option in a jQuery-integration plugin" ? I dont even see a jQuery plugin.. I dont want this, also, branding isnt turning off either - HELP!?!?!
