Gantry freezes the page when opening template settings

Gantry Version: 3.2.16
Browser: Firefox 10.0.2
Problem: when I open any rockettheme template to change the template settings the page freezes, the template configuration page is correctly loaded, but it takes about 2 minutes... :shock:
during that time if I click on any other tab on my browser or try take any other action the browser crashes.
That is not caused by the template itself, but by gantry framework (infact I tried with several rockettheme templates, and the result is always the same)
Are you aware of any 3d party plugin which could be causing this kind of problem with gantry?
