I'm trying to follow up on this solved question:

So if the home page menu type is set to "featured articles" and you're using RokStories [showcase style] and you click on the "read full story", it opens the story on the home page ... rather than navigating to the Article page. But it does so without creating an empty module.
When you have Blank Component [joomla extension] as the home page menu type, you get the empty module, but the RokStories when clicked navigates to a new page.
Is there anyway to get the RokStories to navigate to a new page, whilst keeping the menu type set to "featured articles" so you don't have the empty module?
Running 2.51 with latest [as of 2/22/12] Quantive template.
