hi, i have just installed the new gantry version (3.2.17) and i can't save sidebar settings.
before the update i had the mainbody and sidebar-a (ratio 3/9), now the sidebar sometimes shows up, sometimes not.
when i go in template settings, MainBody settings has only 1 module, and if i change it, gantry doesn't save the changes.
I am having the exact same problem but am still on 3.2.16.
I have modules published to sidebar a and they are showing up on the frontend of the site, but when I try to adjust the mainbody slider for the appropriate template style it will not save and reverts to 1 position (no sidebars).
The front end seems unaffected regardless of any attempted changes in the layout tab.
you can NOT use the sliders to publish or unpublish any modules, you have to do that in your module manager like with any other template.
you can only use the sliders to position the sidebar to the left or right of the mainbody and to set the width distribution for any given number of modules.
I'm using rt_acacia, and I have a module published on a single page in the sidebar-a position.
On the front-end, the module shows up correctly on the correct page, but I want to make it wider.
In the Template Manager on the Layouts page, the MainBody Positions slider only shows 1 position (mb), and it will not slide. The sidebar is not showing up there. What am I doing wrong?
i checked your site and everything is working as expected.
to make your sidebar wider, i opened the layout tab in the template settings and on the setting for 'mainbody' i clicked on the 2 and moved the slider from 9/3 to 8/4 and saved.
the sidebar is now a bit wider on those 2 pages you mentioned.
when you reopen the template settings now, the slider may still show you 1 position, but it does not matter at all which number it shows you there. just click on any number and you will be able to move the slider as desired.
