i had another look and i am wondering about your open_basedir setting:
Open basedir /home:/tmp:/usr
it's has probably nothing to do with your issue though. i will check with the other mods again.

I had another look, be as it may, this cloudfare loader leads the javascripts required by the template manager not to load. It loads the scripts, but they are all empty. That causes the hickup, first it was a hunch that it had to do something with that, but now I am pretty sure.
That loader file tries to improve javascript load times, you can read up on it here:

Thanks for assisting with trying to solve my problem.
I've just done some more testing on the [Template Manager / Edit Style] screen with CloudFlare enabled, and can reconfirm now that it's the [Presets] button only that does not work
.
The [Close] button does indeed work - but takes approx. 15 seconds before it closes the page and the [Save] menu also takes approx. 15 seconds to save. And the [Clear Cache] buttons works after a 2 second delay.
And with CloudFlare enabled I'm also not seeing any empty .js scripts - see Safari Inspector screen dumps attached.

Lastly, with CloudFlare paused (i.e. not loading) I'm still seeing the same behaviour - the [Presets] button does not work and the [Close] and [Save] buttons take approx. 15 seconds to work.
So, the problem doesn't appear to be CloudFlare related ? - Great minds discuss ideas; Average minds discuss events; Small minds discuss people.

- Did you check whether the javascripts load? That is the main issue, figuring out why they do not load. It is not only gantry.js, but all the other scripts. Can you check and see what is loaded and if they are empty?
