How to MANUALLY change admin settings?

The admin panel keeps breaking after every update, this seems to happen and then you guys release a fix a few days later. Is there a way to MANUALLY change the settings in the meantime? Most templates store an ini file in the template directory I think, but with Gantry it does not. Who knows where it is stored?
Can anyone offer some help? We really need to make some changes right away and all the admin panel options are locked.

- Template configuration stores configuration options in the database. Just check your database tables and you will certainly find the one that is used to store template config
