    • Hey guys, first of all I hope you understand me and sorry about the misspellings that is very possible I will do, english language is not my strength, God save the "google translator"

      I have a problem with Gantry framework. I have installed on my computer(windows 7) a local Apache server with lastest versions of PHP and MySQL. It's running a Joomla 2.5.4 version with custom template powered by Gantry 3.2.19.

      The issue is: If I edit the template-options.xml file for adding new features or controls for my template, javascript seems to break down but not everywhere.

      When I clic on the different tags of Gantry backend (features, layout, etc.), everything seems to be ok, I can access to distinct sections, and even the jquery/mootool fading effect is showed, but when I try to change same option like clicking on a toggle button or color chooser popup, nothing happens. I cannot modify the template options in joomla backend.

      That's only happen when I edit the template-options.xml file in anyway. Even if I duplicate the file and backup the original one, when I restore this backup the problem persists.

      The only way I could solve this, is eliminating every file from joomla folder and the database too, restoring both of them from a previous backup that fortunately I had done before.

      The xml file is configured in UTF-8 codification and at the end I used a plain text editor and distincts browsers like firefox, chrome or IE, but with same result.

      Someone could help me with that?

    • Hi again, I've done some tests today, it seems to be a problem caused by gantry 3.2.19 release, becouse if I use another version like 3.2.17, the problem commented before does not occur, I can edit the xml file without issue.

      Someone whom has the same problem could confirm that? or am I the only one?

      I seem to be having the same problem with the Gantry 3.2.19 release. I am able to select the features, but not the specific items (fonts, colors, etc.) I have not edited the template-options.xml file.

      Joomla 2.5.4...
      Database Version 5.1.56
      PHP Version 5.3.6
      Apache/2.2.17 (Fedora)
