Columns not responsive?

Hi,
I've tried the gantry framework. In the demo theme and also in the new themes you've released I realised of the following:
If you have a 4 column footer or bottom if you change the with of the browser you can only see one of these columns. I understand that if it is responsive I have to see the 4 columns in 4 rows in the browser. Is there any problem, is there any option to works fine

For example in the footer of Graffito we use "responsive" support classes lik "hidden-phone" as mod-suffixes oi hide modules in certain breakpoints. See:
