      Hi David

What did you mean by 'then go down to the one you want to edit' in the previous post?

So where are the LESS files accessed. Do you have to edit them on the server using FTP?

      Thanks

That is the moderator in me. I know that some people will do a search and find this post but they may be using another template so they will see all the old css sheets that we used before LESS :cheesy:

For many users who don't want to learn LESS then they can add the custom css file and this will take preference. For developers then LESS is the thing to start playing with and learning.

      Hope this helps 8)

    • Hi David,

Been looking at LESS but need to spend time learning it. Difficult at the moment with our workload, so we will have to load custom CSS files as you suggest. How do we do that, can you point us in the right direction?

      Thanks

      Ian

    • Hi Ian,

If you are using the Gantry template then just upload a css file called gantry-custom.css to the same folder as the two ie files - /template/gantry/css/

Add any changes you need to that file.

      Hope this helps 8)

    • Hi Ian,

      You make it!

As this is an override to all intents and purposes you create what you need and add it. The file can then be ftp'ed to the template css folder.

If you don't have ftp access then the extplorer extension will allow you to upload and download from Joomla admin.

      Hope this helps 8)
