    • Hi Gantry-Staff,

      at first: Thank you for the great work with Gantry 4.1 - i like it a lot.

      I like especially the "Feature"-section which you modularized in a way so that we, the community, could create non RT Supported plugins. (like extended social buttons)

      But i have a Problem with the template-options.xml. If i update the template i have to modify it again every time.

      Could we get a feature.xml file that will be autoloaded?
      In this case the "features" would be drag&drop like and independent from the Main-Template Updates.

    • We'll certainly look into something along these lines. Probably for Gantry 5.0 as it would most likely require backward-compatibility-breaking changes.

    • I'm not the "Gantry Guru" so please don't be offended, but you could make a simple file_exist call, if it is there you include it, on the end of the template-details.xml (maybe a feature Section) if not then template-details it is.
      We'll certainly look into something along these lines. Probably for Gantry 5.0 as it would most likely require backward-compatibility-breaking changes.
      i hope not, backward-compatibility is one of the major points to use the Gantry-Framework. Because of backward-compatibility we can use "older" (RT-)Templates on all Joomla versions.
