    • yes but there is a lot of code of the master files that interfere with the css of virtuemart for example
      this code : img {
      max-width: 100%;
      height: auto;
      vertical-align: middle;
      border: 0px none;
      }

      the only solution that i find is to suppress this code of the master file , but i will look
      look carefully your solution

    • Hey guys,

      I'm having this problem two.

      @Henning ; i can't fix this with specificity; the bootstrap.css file says that

      img {
      max-width: 100%;
      width: auto \9;
      height: auto;
      vertical-align: middle;
      border: 0;
      -ms-interpolation-mode: bicubic;
      }

      The only way i see i can fix this is to comment out the width and height attribute.
      But that only works as long as i don't clean the cache.

      and as i said, you can't possibly be specific with the height and the widht, because that would mean that you have to add a width and height for every image in the website? (bootstrap.css even overrides the inline styles)

    • I have no idea what your issue is. You may want to post a link so we can take a look.

    • I'm sorry, i thought i had the same problem as the OP.

      yellowgreenteam.org (the big image with bonofa on it), i fixe dit for the other image, read here below :) , not a good solution)

      The problem is that, in IE, all images ignore the with and height i set in HTML and use 100% of the original image. This only happens in IE and this happens because the compiled file "Bootstrap.css"uses auto height and with for all images on line 50.

      When i add the width and the height in the style tag for the HTML, the problem is fixed, but this is not a solution for my clients.

      So what i need is a way to comment out that line in bootstrap.css or a better solution :) .
      And as you know, i can't just comment it out, because that file auto compiles itself.
      i tried adding the file to my own css but that doesnt do anything.
      And i can't use CSS spcificity because the rule applies to all images.

      You may have the same issue but unless you have the same HTML code as his website any advice we give him might not work for you. That's why Henning asked for the link - so we can deal with this issue on YOUR SITE.PINCoder wrote:

      I removed your inline image sizes and this is what I see in IE9 which is exactly the same thing in Chrome:
      This image is hidden for guests.
      Please log in or register to see it.

      There are many ways to implement specificity so don't give up on us so easily.

    • Every time I read a thread on this RocketTheme forum I get so irritated and offended by the bad attitudes and condesending remarks from the forum admins and moderators. These people PAY you for your time and support. How about not responding to them with a clearly annoyed and crappy attitude?

    • Hi there,

      Not quite sure if you have the same perceived issue or if you are just jumping on someone elses thread for the sake of it?

      I am not sure where you get the impression that any of the mods have bad attitudes as I work with them and know that the team do their best to answer as many posts as they can in a helpful manner. Unfortunately the typed word does lose any emotion, tonality, and delivery style, so perhaps your perception is skewed by that?

      Actually they don't. If you read the terms of service (link at the bottom of each page) you will see that support is provided free and is not guaranteed. Sometimes it can be annoying when you test a solution for a member and six posts later they finally admit they didn't actually try your suggestion. So while a post may appear annoyed every once in a while, the intent is still to help the member. In fact, the improved forum and search facilities were designed to help make finding answers easier than using our old forum.

      Obviously the choice as to whether to renew or not is yours and yours alone. I would note that your last request for assistance was over 8 months ago so I guess we are getting some things right. 8)

      Thanks for your input.
