How to force custom.css to load at bottom?

Posted 12 years 1 month ago
    • Hello

Ability to load custom css file is great.
I wonder, is it possible to force Gantry to always load our custom.css file last?

I'm asking because often some components loads their css files after our custom css file, which makes impossible to override some css rules in these components.

It would be great if Gantry could load custom.css after all previous css files has ben loaded.

      Regards

    • Kyx,

This question has been asked, and answered dozens of times.

The solution is not load-order of the CSS files, but CSS specificity.

Do a search on specificity and you will see that there are dozens of times this issue has been raised.
    • Thank you.

    • Hello

Sorry for duplicated post. I'm always searching forums before posting, but sometimes it's easy to miss already posted topics if not using exact keywords, especially if someone is already tired by looking at code all day, day after day.

Also, if someone post question for which I know the answer or location of proper thread, if I decide to reply, instead of pointing to forum search function of Google, I'm rather trying to give answer or at least link to relevant thread.

      Thanks for your hint

      Regards
