Adjusting Side Bar options on Gantry

Posted 11 years 11 months ago
    • Hey all,
I've a surface knowledge on Gantry. I'm curious if it's very complicated to make an adjustment in Gantry to change the "Main Body Positions" (when there are 3), to adjust:

      FROM: (SB-A = 2 | MB = 8 | SB-B = 2)
      TO: (SB-A = 2 | MB = 7 | SB-B = 3)

or do they have to be even on both Side Bars?
I've read up a bit on the Docs here: ( www.gantry-framework.org/documentation/joomla ) I get copying the body-mainbody.php into "[Your_Site]/template/[Your_Template_Name]/html/layouts" but I'm a little lost as to where the SB-A & SB-B width options are defined.
If anyone could point me in the correct direction, I'd appreciate it.

    • It is best to add any width allocation in your template folder. Look into the gantry.config.php file to see if you can add any custom widths. Our Gantry core files (which are apart from the template folder) are updated via the automatic extensions updater so it is best not to make any changes there.

    • Thanks Reggie. Sry for the late reply. I'll look there and see what I can do.
      Cheers.
