Hello,
I just tried to update Gantry from version 4.1.9 to 4.1.10 on 3 sites: www.herbal-vision.com , www.jeertspc.com and www.sofem.ch and I always get the same error message:
Error
Invalid extension update

Check in your Template Manager.
Gantry has an auto check for the latest version.
I run a few sites on Crystalline and it never asks me to update beyond v3.1.20 even though gantry has gone beyond v4.x.x.
Instead of manually updating Gantry to the latest version manually, let the auto update decide whether you need an upgrade or not.
Manually 'over-upgrading' may cause you some problems as I have seen in recent posts.
All in all, if in the Template Manager if Gantry doesn't ask you for an upgrade, leave it as is. - Thanks,

- I am getting the same error with Joomla 3.1.1.. The template (Voxel) is also advising me to upgrade..

Was able to do a URL install to update rather than using Joomla's update..
gantry-framework.googlecode.com/files/ga...framework-4.1.10.zip

Hello,
All my sites above are running on Jomla 3.1.1 and use the latest Rockettheme templates Alerion, Chapelco and Voxel. So in the template manager or in Joomla admin I was asked to update Gantry to the version 4.1.10. And normaly, up to today I was able to update Gantry from Joomla admin without any probleme.
So why we cannot do so with this version ?

I'm noticing that on the update screen, there is mention of an old URL.
www.gantry-framework.org/updates/joomla16/gantry.xml
I don't know if this is related? Is Joomla looking for the update there? -
