Dropdown hidden in IE8

On the Gantry demo :http://demo.gantry-framework.org/ using IE 10 in IE 8 browser mode, the dropdown menus are not being displayed.
I'm also seeing this on my installed Gantry.
I'm not sure if it is seen in real IE8, but the IE 10 browser modes seem pretty accurate in general. - Freshpage Web Design

- I do not have ie10 installed but using ie9 and the ie8 user agent with the ie dev tools I do not see this issue., Please check to nake sure you are not also in quirks or compatibility mode.

Microsoft has removed some features "for improved interoperability and compliance with HTML5".

So in IE9 running through all the browser modes each one IE9 -> IE7 properly showed the drop-down menus.
In Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit running IE10 all modes showed the drop-downs, except as you have noted IE8.
The real shocker :shock:

Im Having the same issue here, I have access to computers with IE8 - 10 here, I even opened a browser stack trial account and tried on ie8 results:

But what I tried in my Ie10 Browsermode: IE8 // Document Mode IE8standards is that if I disable scripts the menu shows perfectly:

- @cdavis411 Did you have found any solution? this looks is a problem with the gantry framework itself. Please any information you can give me will be useful, I have to design this project with cross-browser compatibility. thx
