Template Customization??

    • Hi there, firstly please excuse my ignorance, I am a yooTheme customer trying out a RocketTheme template for the first time, so I am familiar with the very simplistic approach to customising templates with yootheme.
When I say customising the teomplate I don't mean by playing around with the Gantry interface, I mean actually changing css etc.
With yootheme (sorry to keep mentioning them!), in order to customise my template I simply create a new style, then in that style I put in a new stylesheet, and this overrides anything coming from the existing template styles / CSS.
I am playing around with your Hexeris template, and would like to start getting into the CSS and changing things around to how I want them.
I can see within the main template folder there is a css-compiled folder but all the stylesheets in there look like they have been compressed, so I am guessing I shouldn't be editing those.
I can also see a 'less' folder - I am guessing this is where I need to start?
I am unfamiliar with LESS but am sure I could pick it up pretty quickly.
Lets say for instance I want to change the width and height of the logo that displays on my site. So I look on firebug and I can see the id 'rt-logo'.
How do I go about editing the CSS for 'rt-logo'
I have tried looking on your documentation but I can only seem to find instructions on how to edit things via the gantry interface, but I want to know how to do proper customisation.

      Thanks for your help,

      Keith
