    Prevent sidebar-b forced position

Posted 11 years 8 months ago
    • Hi

I have a 3 column setup (mb,sa,sb). I have ascribed all the modules on sidebar-b the class "visible-large". I would like these to disappear when the display is not large. Of course, I would also like the sidebar-b to leave room to the mb and sa when no modules are displayed in it.

The classes are working, the module on sidebar-b disappear whenever I am not in large window, but the sidebar-b is still present even though empty. This implies that sidebar-b behaves like it is a forced position.

Is there a way to prevent this behavior and have the sb disappear when no modules are displayed in it?

      Thanks a lot

    • Maybe I should rephrase the question: is it possible to display the whole sidebar-b only in large screens?

    • only with custom css styling. (hiding the sidebar using media queries and rearranging the grid widths)

    • Thanks for the answer Henning. Sounds like a lot of work
I hope that it eventually becomes a feature in future Gantry releases.
