    • Is there a method to get Font awesome 3.2.1 support in pre-LESS templates like Ximenia with Gantry 4.1.15 installed?

      (note: Ximenia supported Font Awesome but does not have LESS support)

    • I would say that LESS is not a prerequisite to use FontAwesome on the web site so you can easily add it using custom css file

      This is how you create a custom CSS file...

      When we release upgrades template files will change and you will have to reapply all your changes again (that's if you can remember where they all are). If you keep your changes in a separate Custom CSS file you'll have no issues upgrading.

    • I agree that "LESS is not a prerequisite to use FontAwesome" the Ximenia template is Pr-LESS and supports FontAwesome with a FontAwesome specific css file.

      The question was about how to implement Font awesome 3.2.1 support in pre-LESS templates.

      There are provided instructions on how to add Font awesome 3.2.1 support with LESS templates once Gantry 4.1.15+ is installed. But the method provided doesn't necessarily apply to custom CSS files it applies to custom LESS files. Since I'm not a CSS or LESS expert I need just a little more direction then "add it to custom css"

    • OK. Can you tell me where did you find those directions and I will see what can be done?

      EDIT: I spoke with devs. They added support for FontAwesome in one older template recently. Let me check with them how they did that and Kat will update her sticky post about adding FontAwesome with that new information
