The fact that is explained on the sh404sef website is strictly related to the configuration when you use sh404sef extension and is not related to our templates at all.
Did you actually see my tutorial I wrote about proper configuration and setup of multilingual website when you use our templates? If you did, then you would understand that you actually configure template copies for each language and you don't mess with menu assignments at all - Check my services at: Mihha-Vision

Exactly that causes the problem!!! As soon as i copy a template and assign different menu for each copy, the page doesn't work anymore! Not the other way around!
@Igor: well, i did see your tutorial from 21 Sep 2012 before, and also i wrote an answer to that tip here in this thread. By the way: i posted a tutorial (nearly the same like yours on 11 Apr 2012) before. So believe my when i say: i know what i am talking about on multi language pages.
And sure i know a long period about that issue which Anything Digital describes in your solution-link. But this issue has absolute nothing to do with that!
This issue is a complete new issue and my opinion is, that it is caused in the kernel of GANTRY or in a combination with a RT Template!

yes I followed your tutorial. Thank you for it btw.... you actually configure template copies for each language and you don't mess with menu assignments at allExactly what I did. I was talking about menu associations...
I suppose this is a problem in sh404sef, as it also happens with the Joomla stock template.

- If you use sh404sef then you need to disable Joomla language switcher plugin. This is clearly explained on sh404sef web site

Well, as this issue has nothing to do with associations or other plugins, i push it again to the content of my issue.
Anyone from the GANTRY Team: can someone have a look on this, please…
