Update Gantry in Joomla

Hi
I have updated the gantry through joomla updater and i have a problem at the menu.
The menu does not appear like the last time.
Im not sure if this came up after the grantry update.
The question is simple: Do i have to make the update every time this is available or i have to pay attention on something that will break my site.

Normally not. Updates are important and fix bugs in most cases, or have security updates...
I see some Javascript errors on your page, related to rokbox and the google analytics near line 62
You have an outdated rokbox version. Updating rokbox should resolve your menu problem and the related javascript errors.

If updating your site, update everything to the latest stable version.
But a short look into the changelog is anytime a good idea.

Take a look at
Akeeba Backup
and really consider using it. There is a setting that does saves when you update items so you can restore if anything does break your site. Don't consider it absolute and completely rely on it, but it can help at times.

Hi
I want to update gantry framework in Joomla through extension manager-> update.
It asked me to do RocketTheme Login but when i logged in, it doesnot display any item related to gantry framework to update.
Now how to update Gantry framework in my joomla 2.5?

Gantry is free so you don't have to put in any credentials to get the update.
When you're on your extensions update screen, be sure to click "Find Updates" so that it refreshes the screen and retrieves any new updates.
If you're still not seeing the newest version of Gantry, or any other updates that you may need, make sure you're on the latest version of Joomla 2.5.
Taking a backup first is a good idea!
