I am really confused using this new forum - so maybe this post is placed wrong...if then I am sorry!
At ieu.dk (using Chapelco) I would like to change the menucolor of a single specific menu id to Orange...how?

If you want more help with your template I suggest to renew ...
to color one menu item you can try to add somethng like
#rt-header li.item562 > a.item { color: #e7714d; }

I am trying to do the same thing with the 4th child main menu item. I tried what you stated and do not see a change. My knowledge is limited so I am not sure what changes to make to your script to try to make it work. What does item 562 refer to?
Ultimately, I will have my menu in the navigtion and not the header.
Would you mind sharing more detail on changing a single item to orange?
