Custom 404 page with Gantry

Ok, I create a custom 404 page with articles on my website. I have alias /error404 which works.
I'm added next rule in .htaccess:
ErrorDocument 404 /error404
But if if I turn on the broken link, I see a Gantry 404 Page. Can you help me fix this?

- Try to edit file error.php under your template root folder. That is the file which Gantry loads on the error. You can also try to use some 3rd party SEF URLs which would allow you to load the different error page. I would try sh404sef

- No, you can edit the Error Page via Outlines -> System Outlines -> Error -> Layout.
