I can't upgrade to latest version of Gantry without my site crashing
Posted 10 years 11 months ago
I currently run a website with the Wordpress version of the Modulus theme. Our webserver is running MySQL 5.1 and PHP 5.2.13 I'm currently running Gantry version 1.31 and everytime I try to upgrade to any version of Gantry after 1.31 my website crashes. It just only displays a total white screen and same thing when I try to access the backend side. Once I manually remove the gantry folder from the plugins folder the website on the front end will still show up blank but the backend comes back up. Then when I manually re-install Gantry 1.31 folder back into the plugins folder, everything comes back to normal.
According to the information on the latest version of Gantry our server meets the minimum requirements to run Gantry 4.1.1 but maybe we don't, and there maybe something I'm missing. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated, because I'm running to some other problems with some basic website functions, but they do not work properly and I'm thinking it's because of the Gantry plugin
needing to be updated.
