Gantry & Android phones - Breaks and looks a mess

Posted 10 years 11 months ago
    • Using Joomla 3.2.0 and Gantry 4.1.24

Having loads of issues on Android phones and Amazon Kindles.

The various phones and tablets show varying degrees of 'breakage'

On some the menu dissapears, on others Rok Sprocket dissapears, on others there is nothing but a graphic on the home page.

I have switced off all the caching and updated gantry and all the extensions.

      Anybody have any thoughts?

      Thanks

      Ian

    • if your using gantry is responsive mode it is going to hide the main menu and display a mobile menu under 768px... so that's likely your "on some the menu dissapears" -- you'll want to ensure the mobile menu is configured properly...

otherwise... do you have RokBooster enabled? try disabling it; and clear all your system caches.

      beyond that, provide a link

Was using Maximenu, without the mobile plug-in - looks like the standard menu was causing the responsiveness to break. After the mobile menu was installed and configures everything seemed to work fine.
Did also switch of Rok Booster, but that didnt solve the problem.
