      Check your folder permissions here:
Admin -> Site or System -> System Information -> Directory Permissions to ensure they're writeable.
They should look EXACTLY like this:

Make sure you have an updated Gantry framework and RokNavMenu.

    • 1. clear your browser cache and server cache.
      2. that log directory has to be made writable as Dan pointed out - it could be that the directory has a different group/owner on it and that's why you can't change it. This tends to happen when you use apache2handler rather that cgi/fastcgi. The best thing to do is to ask your host for assistance in making that log directory writeable.

      Regards, Mark.

As Mark pointed out the Logs is the wrong setting. Ownership and permissions are very complex issues for web designers :(
While waiting for you hoster to reply, get a free copy of AKEEBA Admin Tools and use the Fix Permissions option. That just might do it for you.

    • Guys D: i have been working all the day on this! D: with the server administrator hand by hand, i dont know what's going on on this, but the permission still the same on joomla (unwritable) but on server/host is 777. I re-upload the site again, and now i can access to the template settings but i cannot edit the layout of the mainbody position, i need 3 positions there and it doesnt do the change...

thank you in advance to all of you for your help!
